Join a mushroom farm near Saxtorp for seasonal work with potential longer-term engagement.
Pick mushrooms carefully, weigh and pack the harvest, pressure-wash growing rooms and complete general cultivation tasks. Work also includes moving compost blocks and forklift-related handling; blocks weigh 24 kg. Follow safety instructions and cooperate with the farm team while working independently when needed.
Previous farm experience is required, preferably in mushroom cultivation. Applicants need communicative English, physical fitness, good hand dexterity and a valid passport. A category B driving licence and forklift experience are useful. Availability over Christmas and New Year is required.
The advertised rate is €14 gross per hour, with at least 47 hours weekly and one day off. The work uses a self-employment arrangement rather than a standard employment contract; the stated Swedish self-employment alternative is SEK 135–150 per hour. A paid 14-day assessment, travel for that assessment, work clothing and bedding are provided. accommodation (costs confirmed per placement) is approximately ten minutes from the farm, with shared rooms or a couple’s room, kitchen, bathroom and Wi-Fi.
