We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician to join a growing company in Aalter, working in the reinforcing steel and industrial construction sector.
🛠️ YOUR ROLE
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in keeping the production machinery running smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
🔧 Resolving breakdowns – Identify and repair technical faults on machinery and installations quickly and efficiently.
⚙️ Preventive & corrective maintenance – Plan and carry out maintenance to keep machinery reliable and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
💡 Sustainable solutions – Investigate the root cause of technical problems and implement lasting solutions rather than temporary fixes.
📈 Continuous improvement – Work together with the technical team on improvement projects and process optimization.
🦺 Quality & safety – Work according to applicable quality, environmental and safety procedures and standards.
👤 YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for someone who has:
- A strong technical background and some initial professional experience
⚙️ Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
🔧 A hands-on mentality and the ability to solve breakdowns independently
🛠️ Experience with preventive maintenance and the ability to identify potential problems before they occur
🤝 A team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute ideas for improvements
🇬🇧 Good knowledge of English and/or Dutch
🇵🇱 Knowledge of Polish is an additional advantage
🇷🇴 Knowledge of Romanian is an additional advantage, as you will work with Polish technicians and production supervisors who mainly speak Romanian
