Operate mobile telescopic cranes on a long-term industrial infrastructure project at the Port of Antwerp.
Lift and position structural elements, containers and industrial equipment. Coordinate with signalers and fellow operators, follow technical instructions and maintain strict lifting safety. Lifts above 20 tonnes require consultation with engineers. The site uses cranes with capacities from 40 to 250 tonnes, with progression to larger equipment subject to assessment.
You need at least two years of crane-operating experience, a category C driving licence and communicative English. A valid telescopic-crane certificate is required; assessment can be organised on site if certification is missing or expired. Applicants must be prepared for outdoor work and rotation schedules.
The advertised rotation is six weeks on and two weeks off, with 50 paid hours weekly, including weather-related downtime. Pay is €850–€900 net per week. Flights, commuting transport and single-room accommodation (costs confirmed per placement) are provided. The position requires consistent adherence to site health, safety and environmental procedures.
