Are you a technically skilled and hands-on person looking for a new opportunity in the Netherlands? We are currently looking for Service Mechanics to join a professional Service Department in Lelystad.
🛠️ YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a Service Mechanic, you will work alongside experienced service engineers and assist with:
- Maintenance of industrial installations and loading systems
- Repairs and replacement of mechanical components
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Inspections and identification of technical problems
- On-site service and maintenance activities
- Repair work according to work instructions
- Safe and correct use of hand tools and technical equipment
- You will mainly work with:
- 🚪 Industrial doors
- 🏗️ Loading docks
- 🔧 Dock shelters
- ⚙️ Related mechanical and technical systems
✅ REQUIREMENTS
- ️ Previous experience with industrial doors, loading docks, mechanical installations, maintenance, assembly or similar technical systems
- ️ Technical background or strong technical aptitude
- ️ Comfortable working with hand tools
- ️ Practical, hands-on attitude
- ️ Reliable, motivated and willing to learn
- ️ Able to work independently and as part of a team
- ️ Flexible regarding overtime
- ️ English level: minimum B1
- 💰 SALARY & WORKING HOURS
- 💶 €17.73 gross/hour
- ⏰ 40 hours/week guaranteed as standard
- ➕ Plenty of overtime opportunities
- 🔥 Working weeks can reach approximately 55 hours
- Indicative net earnings:
- 💰 40 hours: approximately €575–€610 net/week
- 💰 Up to 55 hours: approximately €800–€900 net/week, depending on applicable overtime rates and individual circumstances.
- Net amounts are indicative and may vary depending on tax situation, tax credits, overtime rates and deductions.
- 📅 CONTRACT & PROJECT
- 📌 Initial project: approximately 3 months
- 📌 Possibility of extension and long-term employment based on performance and client requirements
- 📌 Weekly salary payments
- 📌 Regular Phase A contract
- 📌 Contract available in English, Polish, Dutch and Ukrainian
- 📌 First salary is paid at the end of the second working week
🏠 ACCOMMODATION
- 🏡 Accommodation provided in houses
- 💶 €150/week
- 🚫 No housing deposit
- 🛏️ Usually shared double rooms; single rooms are limited and mainly available for skilled/technical candidates
- 🧳 Bring your own bed linen and toiletries
- 👕 Work clothing and safety equipment available if required
🚗 TRANSPORT
- 🚘 Agency car available for €5/day – private use is not permitted
- ⛽ Fuel card provided
- 🚙 Own car: possible travel allowance, usually €0.23/km, depending on the client
- 👥 Additional allowance available when transporting colleagues
- 🩺 HEALTH INSURANCE
- 💶 Approximately €40/week
