Pick, sort and process grocery stock in an Alkmaar distribution centre. Use handheld scanners, move and stage pallets with an electric pallet truck, and check product quality and order accuracy. Most work takes place in a chilled area around 4°C.
Requirements
EPT experience and B1 English are required. A valid EPT or forklift certificate is preferred. Supply a home-country criminal-record certificate no older than six months before arrival. Applicants must be capable of standing, walking and repetitive lifting, work accurately and follow warehouse safety rules. Shared rooms and different shifts from a partner must be acceptable.
Employment terms
Base pay is €14.99 gross hourly. Moving to the deep-freeze department adds €1 hourly. An 8.33% holiday allowance is listed, with overtime above 40 hours paid at 135%. Shift rates vary: 125% on weekday evenings, 130% on Saturday daytime, 150% for specified nights or Sundays, and 200% on public holidays.
