For one of our major clients, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician / Electrical Breakdown Technician to join the Hisarna plant in IJmuiden.

🔧 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- ⚡ Diagnose and resolve electrical breakdowns during your shift
- ⚡ Find safe and effective solutions while minimizing production downtime
- ⚡ Carry out preventive maintenance and technical inspections
- ⚡ Inspect and maintain measurement and control systems
- ⚡ Work with burner systems, thermocouples and other electrical equipment
- ⚡ Prepare technical reports when required
- ⚡ Coordinate with production teams, maintenance colleagues and external contractors
- ⚡ Support technical projects connected to the transition towards hydrogen-based steel production
- ⚡ Work according to strict safety procedures and technical standards
🎯 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- MBO Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or comparable technical education
- Minimum 3 years of recent relevant experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician, Breakdown Technician, Industrial Electrician or similar
- Knowledge of one or more of the following: PLC control systems, frequency drives, drive technology, measurement & control technology
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond effectively to unexpected breakdowns and work under pressure
- Comfortable working in a 5-shift system
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Stipel certificate or willingness to obtain it
- VCA Basic Safety certificate required for payroll candidates
- English language skills of at least B1 level

- 🌅 06:00 – 14:00
- 🌇 14:00 – 22:00
- 🌙 22:00 – 06:00
- You will work as part of an experienced technical team of approximately 10 colleagues per shift.

🏠 ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORT
- 🏡 Agency accommodation in houses: approximately €150/week
- 🔑 No housing deposit
- 🛏️ Usually a double room; single rooms are limited and mainly available for skilled/technical candidates
- 🏥 Health insurance: approximately €40/week
- 🚗 Agency car: €5/day, including a fuel card. Private use is not permitted.
- 🚘 Own car: travel allowance may apply depending on the client, usually around €0.23/km.
- If you drive colleagues to work, an additional gross daily allowance applies depending on the number of passengers.
- 💳 Your first salary is paid at the end of your second working week, followed by weekly salary payments.
