We are looking for several experienced Roofers – Zinc Workers, Slate Roofers and All-Round Roofers for professional roofing projects throughout the Netherlands.
If you have solid professional experience with zinc work, slate roofing or all-round roofing and can work independently, we want to hear from you! 🔨🏠
🔨 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, repair and maintain different roofing systems
- Perform professional zinc and lead work
- Install and repair slate roofs
- Install gutters, valleys and flashings
- Install and finish sheet-metal roofing components
- Carry out roofing repairs and finishing work
- Identify and solve roofing-related problems
- Work according to technical specifications
- Follow all required safety procedures
- Work independently and as part of a professional team

✅ REQUIREMENTS
- ️ Minimum 3 years of recent professional roofing experience
- ️ Proven experience as a Zinc Worker, Slate Roofer or All-Round Roofer
- ️ Professional experience with zinc work and/or slate roofing
- ️ Good knowledge of roofing techniques, tools and materials
- ️ Comfortable and experienced working at heights
- ️ Able to perform roofing work independently
- ️ Reliable, motivated and quality-focused
- ️ Safety-conscious working attitude
- ️ English – minimum B1 level
- ️ Available to start immediately
- 💰 SALARY & WORKING HOURS
- 💶 €17.30 – €20.00 gross/hour
- 💰 Estimated €550 – €600 NET/week, depending on experience and skills
- ⏱️ Standard working week: approximately 38 hours
- ⏰ Possibility to work significant overtime/additional hours
- 💳 Weekly salary payments
- 📅 First salary paid at the end of the second working week
- Experienced roofers who are flexible with additional hours can benefit from the overtime opportunities available on different projects.
🏠 ACCOMMODATION
- 🏡 Accommodation is arranged in shared houses
- 💶 Accommodation: €150/week
- 🩺 Health insurance: €40/week
- 💳 No housing deposit
- 🛏️ Accommodation is generally in a double room. Single rooms are limited and mainly available for certain skilled/technical candidates.
- 🧳 You should bring your own bed linen and toiletries. If necessary, a bedding package can be arranged for €10.
🚗 TRANSPORT
- 🚘 Agency car: €5/day
- ⛽ Fuel card provided
- ⚠️ Agency vehicles are intended for work-related transport. Private kilometres may be charged separately.
- 🚗 Using your own car?
- A travel allowance may be available depending on the project, commonly around €0.23/km, subject to the applicable conditions.
- 👥 Drivers transporting colleagues can also receive an additional gross daily allowance depending on the number of passengers.
- 👷 WORK CLOTHING & SAFETY EQUIPMENT
- 🥾 Preferably bring your own safety shoes and working clothes.
- If required:
- 🥾 Safety shoes can be provided for €45
- 👕 T-shirt or hoodie can be provided free of charge
📄 CONTRACT
- You will receive a regular Phase A employment contract.
- 📑 Contract duration: 1 year
- 🔄 Automatically extended every 4 weeks
- 🌍 Contract available in English, Polish, Dutch and Ukrainian
- 📄 A draft contract can be requested before arrival for review
