For one of our major clients in IJmuiden, we are looking for experienced Gas Pipeline Inspectors / Gas Pressure Regulating Station Specialists who are qualified and authorized to perform SCIOS / AG-ZP inspections.
The industrial site contains an extensive gas pipeline network and approximately 500 gas pressure regulators, which are essential for safely supplying fuel to installations and maintaining reliable production processes.
If you have strong experience with gas installations, pipeline systems and SCIOS / AG-ZP inspections, this is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the largest industrial sites in the Netherlands. 🇳🇱⚙️
🔍 WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Carry out scheduled inspections of gas pressure regulating stations
- Inspect valves, filters, pressure regulators, safety devices and other components
- Perform inspections according to SCIOS / AG-ZP requirements
- Identify and report gas leaks, technical deviations and malfunctions
- Record measurements and inspection results
- Prepare GDR reports in the DMS
- Assist with maintenance, overhaul and inspection activities
- Perform basic maintenance according to work instructions
- Support start-up, shutdown and switching of installations
- Safely operate gas pressure regulating stations
- Work according to strict safety, environmental and quality regulations
- Act as a technical contact for installation managers
- Participate in an on-call service for potential malfunctions
👥 Inspectors always work in pairs, ensuring safe and professional execution of inspection activities.
The work is varied: some days you may complete several inspections and reports, while more complex installations can require several days of detailed work.
🎯 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- ❗ Qualification/authorization to perform SCIOS / AG-ZP inspections is essential
- HBO-level education in Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Operational Technology, Installation Technology or a related technical field
- Knowledge of pipeline systems and technical installations
- Familiarity with Dutch gas legislation and NPR/NEN standards and guidelines
- Knowledge of safe working practices within an industrial environment
- Familiarity with SAP notifications and work orders
- Experience in a production, process or maintenance environment
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Willingness to complete additional training or professional certifications when required
- Comfortable working at heights
- VCA certificate required – assistance with obtaining it can be provided
- English language skills of at least B1 level

- 💰 Approximately €760 – €850 NET per week
- 💶 €34 – €39 gross/hour, depending on knowledge and experience

🏠 ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORT
- 🏡 Agency accommodation in houses: approximately €150/week
- 🔑 No housing deposit
- 🛏️ Usually a double room; single rooms are limited and mainly available for skilled/technical candidates
- 🏥 Health insurance: approximately €40/week
- 🚗 Agency car: €5/day with a fuel card provided. Private use is not permitted.
- 🚘 Own car: travel allowance may apply depending on the client, usually around €0.23/km.
- 🚙 If you drive colleagues to work, an additional gross daily allowance may apply:
- 1 passenger: €4.05/day
- 2 passengers: €6.75/day
- 3+ passengers: €9.45/day
- 💳 Your first salary is paid at the end of the second working week, followed by weekly payments.
