Install plumbing and heating systems on commercial and public-building projects, including offices, hospitals and shops. Depending on the assignment, fit hot and cold water pipes, drainage, sanitary ware, rainwater systems and central heating. Read technical drawings, test completed installations and coordinate safely with other trades.
Requirements
At least two years of plumbing, heating or CV-mechanic experience is required, including commercial installations and independent work from drawings. Experience with Mapress or comparable press-fit systems is mandatory. VCA is required or must be obtained; some projects require a working-at-height certificate. Technical education is preferred. Experience with copper, plastics and other pipe systems is useful; heat pumps, underfloor heating, ventilation and welding skills are additional advantages. English, Dutch or German at B1 level is required.
Employment terms
Long-term projects are available across the Netherlands, generally for 40 hours weekly, typically 07:00–15:45. Overtime is usually unavailable.
