Maintain and repair commercial trucks in an established workshop or transport business. Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults; service engines, brakes, clutches, steering, suspension and drivetrains. Work can include ABS, bearings, fluids and timing components. Use diagnostic equipment and technical reports to identify breakdown causes and plan repairs according to workshop and manufacturer procedures. Assignments are matched to your experience; expertise with every truck brand is not required.
Requirements
At least three years of relevant truck-mechanic experience, strong technical knowledge and independent fault-finding skills. Mechanic qualifications, truck-workshop experience and VCA certification are advantages; willingness to obtain VCA is welcome. English at B1 level or above.
Pay and conditions
Advertised weekly net pay is €650–€680. A workplace toolbox, accommodation (costs confirmed per placement) near work, health insurance, pension contributions and 25 paid vacation days are offered.
