Work in modern greenhouses in Delfgauw and Pijnacker producing Dendrobium Nobile orchids throughout the year. Arrange and plant orchids, care for plants through their cultivation stages, complete general greenhouse tasks and pack finished plants for dispatch. Daily duties follow production requirements and require careful, responsible handling.
Requirements
Previous orchid-growing experience is mandatory. Applicants need an interest in long-term, year-round work and availability for a pre-start interview. A2 English is listed on the English vacancy. You must have your own transport or be willing to cycle up to 10 km using a provided bicycle. Applicants using accommodation must accept a shared room.
Employment terms
Pay starts at €14.99 gross hourly. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:00, with occasional Saturday work when needed. Wages are paid weekly to your bank account. Holiday allowance, paid holiday entitlement and StiPP Plus pension participation from the first working day are listed. Bicycle transport is available for workers using arranged accommodation.
