Install shipboard plumbing and pipework on a long-term maritime project. Fit hot and cold water, heating, chilled-water, condensate, drainage and sanitary systems. Work with press-fit and multilayer connections, steel and PVC, with stainless steel or copper where required. Read drawings independently, bend and fit pipes, pressure-test and flush completed installations, and maintain safety and quality standards.
Requirements
At least three years of professional plumbing or pipe-fitting experience. Practical knowledge of water, heating, drainage, sanitary and the listed pipe systems is essential. Shipbuilding, yacht or offshore experience, stainless-steel/copper skills and pipe bending are advantages. A VCA certificate is required; assistance obtaining it is available. English at B1 level or above.
Pay and conditions
€620–€680 net per week. Full-time employment on a long-term shipbuilding project, with VCA support when needed.
